This spacious lodge can comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests across six large super king bedrooms, each with flexible zip-and-link beds that can be configured as super king or twin singles. For additional guests, three fully furnished bell tents are available during the warmer months, offering a luxurious glamping experience with super king beds and access to the main lodge’s facilities. With amenities like central heating, log fires, a large BBQ, and access to a beautiful river, the lodge is perfect for families or groups seeking a relaxing getaway.

The grand dining room, featuring a striking open fireplace and a stunning bay window, is centred around a large table that comfortably seats 14 – perfect for celebratory meals and gatherings. The adjoining sitting room offers a cosy retreat, complete with a log burner for warmth on winter nights. The fully equipped kitchen includes a large fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, and all necessary appliances for preparing meals. The adjacent dining area provides ample seating for all guests, making it ideal for group meals and gatherings. Outside, there’s a large BBQ with gas supplied for al fresco dining, with a generous patio and seating area for enjoying meals surrounded by nature.

Guests can also make use of the large BBQ with gas provided, ideal for outdoor cooking.

For those seeking adventure, the lodge enjoys direct access to one of the most picturesque stretches of the River Teme. A scenic path from the field beside the lodge leads down to the river (it’s even been featured in the wild swimming guide!) where guests can roam, explore, or simply unwind by the water’s edge. The surrounding landscape also connects to walking trails, mountain bike routes, and Offa’s Dyke, offering endless opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts.

The property is set in stunning countryside with direct access to walking and mountain biking trails, including Offa’s Dyke. Guests can enjoy the access to the river, perfect for wild swimming, or simply roam the surrounding fields. The large garden features a outdoor games shed, ensuring fun for all ages.

Extras On Request

Extras and functions can be arranged directly by contacting us for an additional fee. This would include cocktail making sessions and classes, hiring of the safari tents and much more.

The safari tents offer a luxurious glamping experience from May to September, set on raised wooden decks in the lodge’s garden. Each tent features a super king bed, plush bedding, and space for extra airbeds for children. Guests enjoy access to the lodge’s amenities, including the kitchen and bathrooms.

*Hibernation Mode: for stays between 14 September and 26 March, book two weekend nights and we will add a third on us, or book three midweek nights and we will add a fourth. Excludes the October half term, Christmas and New Year, and February half term. Message us before booking and we will adjust the price.
