At the heart of The Salt Retreat is a spacious open-plan lounge and kitchen, thoughtfully designed to help you make the most of quality time with your group. The standout feature is a striking double-sided wood-burning stove, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout. Adjacent to this space is a generous dining room that seats up to 14, ideal for long family lunches or elegant evening meals.

Whether you're gathering around a board game for some cherished screen-free fun or challenging each other to a game of pool, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Younger guests are also well catered for, with a collection of toys to keep them happily entertained.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

The Salt Retreat features six thoughtfully designed bedrooms. Five are furnished with super king-size beds that can be configured as doubles or twins to suit your group’s needs, while the sixth offers a comfortable king-size bed.

Each room has its own unique character and style, adding a touch of fun when choosing where to sleep. With elegant designer wallpapers, luxurious fabrics, crisp white sheets, and premium bedding, every bedroom offers a cosy and indulgent retreat. Four of the rooms benefit from en suite bathrooms with showers, while the remaining two share a stylish family bathroom complete with both a bath and shower.

Garden

Step outside and you’ll discover a spacious south-west facing private patio, an ideal spot for soaking up the afternoon sun. At the heart of this space is a large hot tub that seats up to seven, perfect for relaxing evenings under the stars with a glass of something special in hand.

Beyond the patio lies a generous lawned garden, great for a game of football, rounders, or simply letting the kids run free. There’s plenty of room for outdoor fun, picnics, or lazy afternoons with a book. And for muddy boots, coats, or wellies after a countryside walk, you’ll find our charming oversized boot store, affectionately known as the "Old Mother Hubbard" cupboard, a quirky and practical touch for keeping things tidy.
