Designer Mark Wilkinson has created a truly remarkable Smallbone kitchen at Darley Dale Cottage, making it the heart of the home. The kitchen is flooded with natural light from the bifold doors, creating a bright and spacious cooking area. With its porcelain tiled floor, underfloor heating, and impressive central island, it provides a welcoming and convivial space for gathering and relaxation.
The dining room, located just a step above the kitchen, showcases a remarkable natural stone fireplace that has been carefully restored and refurbished from the original cottage that once stood on the premises. This charming feature adds a cosy and inviting atmosphere to the space, especially when complemented by the warm lighting and the presence of a log burner.
It is the perfect setting to bring your family together and enjoy a memorable celebratory meal. With seating for 10 people, and the possibility to accommodate up to 14 by utilizing the kitchen table, this room offers ample space for everyone. Additionally, a large wall-mounted flat-screen TV is also available for entertainment purposes.
Upon entering the Games Room, guests are welcomed by a stunning lounge area illuminated by the natural light pouring in through the large windows. This space offers a serene setting to admire the picturesque views of the patio, garden, and the expansive valley beyond. The French doors at the front seamlessly connect the indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing for a seamless transition to enjoy the summer sunshine.
The lounge is furnished with a spacious corner sofa that comfortably accommodates at least 6 individuals, complemented by 3 additional leather chairs. A charming natural stone fireplace, nestled between two large windows, houses a working log burner that radiates warmth and creates a cozy ambiance, ideal for the colder seasons. Equipped with a wall-mounted flat-screen TV and surround sound speakers, the lounge provides entertainment options for guests.
The garden is unrivalled, offering not only stunning features but also captivating vistas. The house is surrounded by a spacious grass lawns and terraces that seamlessly transition into an incredible social space with various uses and areas. It features a barbecue area, outdoor lounges, dining area, and sofa that rival the trendiest beachside bars.
The outdoor space extends to the front of the house, offering stunning panoramic views. A stone patio equipped with a Chiminea, a spacious wooden table, chairs, and a parasol can be found here.
Additionally, there is a vast flat lawn suitable for playing ball games, leading to smaller lawn sections, decorative walls, and elevated flower beds. Please exercise caution as the steps become uneven towards the lower part of the garden. Furthermore, there is ample and private parking available for up to 10 cars.

There are five opulent bedrooms, each showcasing its unique style and providing picturesque views of the garden and countryside that envelops the property. Every room is equipped with a television and ample storage space for your personal belongings.
Additionally, all bedrooms offer the flexibility of being arranged as either a super-king size double or twin beds, adorned with lavish linens. Here are the details of the bedrooms:

The 3 bathrooms offer stunning amenities and elegance. Each guest will receive a bath and hand towel as well as a bathrobe.
• Bathroom 1 - Luxurious Ensuite in Master Bedroom 1. It boasts a spacious wet room with a Honsgrohe massage shower, a bath with a pull-out shower attachment, a wash basin, and a WC. The room is adorned with stunning marble tiles.
• The shared family bathroom for bedrooms 2, 3, and 4 features a large bath with a pull-out shower attachment, a separate walk-in shower with massage capabilities, a wash basin, and a WC.
• Bedroom 5 has its own en suite with a walk-in shower equipped with a fixed shower head and a separate attachment, a wash basin, and a WC.

• 2 x Log Burners, one in the Lounge and the other in the Dining Area. We supply a complimentary basket of logs on your arrival to get you started. We cannot provide any lighting equipment due to Health & Safety so you must bring this with you.
