A Grand 5-Bedroom Manor in the North Welsh Countryside, Heritage & Luxury for Up to 13 Guests
Soughton, Flintshire
Conwy
10 guests
(12 max)
5 bedrooms
5 bathrooms
Set within mature private grounds in the North Welsh countryside, built in 1860 Clwydian View is a five-bedroom manor house that embodies style and Welsh heritage. With a blend of grandeur, sleek interiors and coziness, the luxury home offers deep luxury for up to 10 + 3 guests.
Clwydian View's rooms are arranged around a double-height hall – complete with baby grand piano – with sweeping staircase and gallery connecting all the bedrooms. Ground floor rooms run from formal dining room and sitting room to more casual in-dining kitchen, informal lounge and TV snug.
The house has 5 bedrooms (2 king, 2 double, 1 twin) with every bedroom benefitting from an en-suite bathroom (all bath with either handheld or walk-in shower). Sitting in a secluded acre of gardens the house is surrounded by lawns on three sides, meaning there is plenty of space and privacy for games, barbecues and lounging on the sun terrace.
Around the house you will find many objects that celebrate the home's culture and origins: paintings of North Wales mountain ranges, books, old maps, textiles by Melin Tregwynt, curtains designed by local textile artist Cefyn Burgess, and – of course – traditional furniture including a Welsh dresser and two stick chairs.
This is a house for relaxation
From formal reception rooms and a large dine-in kitchen to smaller spaces like the snug with wood-burning stove, there's plenty of room to be together (and plenty of room to be apart). Likewise, with an acre of garden surrounding the house, you can easily have drinks in one corner, games in another and quiet time a world away with a book.
This is a house for celebration
You'll find high ceilings and a baby grand piano waiting patiently to be played. Clwydian View is a period home with scene-setting scale full of traditional details. Its rooms are focused around a double-height hall with a sweeping staircase and gallery connecting all the bedrooms on the first floor.
The home has been carefully and creatively updated with contemporary additions introduced among the historic pieces to make a majestic manor house from 1850 into a stunning holiday home.
